10th ANNIVERSARY CHOPPERS FOR CHARITY & HOGS AGAINST HUNGER Benefit for the Food Bank of WNY * Bike/Car Run * Bike/Car Show * Benefit Party * SATURDAY, APRIL 24, 2010 ~ RAIN ~ SNOW ~ SHINE ~
Thank you to everyone who supported this year's event! We raised $15,049 and 700 pounds of food which will provide approximately 80,000 meals to the less fortunate in our community! We couldn't have done it without you! Don't forget to mark your calendars for our 11th Annual event on April 30, 2011! Pictures from our 2010 CFC&HAH Event can be found on Facebook! Our 2009 event was a huge record-breaking success...well over 500 bikes/20 show cars in the run, about 700 total patrons, and raised $13,607 and 3,088 pounds of food for the Food Bank of WNY...which will provide 77,138 meals to the less fortunate in our community! ADMISSION DONATION: $15 for drivers; $10 for passengers, or comparable amount in non-perishable foods. PRE-REGISTRATION (Deadline - 4/17/10): Your name will be on the list at each venues' Express Check-In, and you will be given your wristband! REGISTRATION: 11:00am - Native Pride Travel Plaza, 11359 Southwestern Blvd., Irving 14081 KICKSTANDS UP: 1:00pm sharp for police escorted run 21-AND-OVER BENEFIT PARTY: 2:00-7:00pm - Club Paradise, 3950 McKinley Parkway, Blasdell, NY 14219 BIKE/CAR SHOW REGISTRATION: Show off your pride and joy! Shows/awards will be held at Club Paradise from 2-5pm, however, show your bike/car early at Native Pride and join the run! Just complete and mail a Bike Show Form / Car Show Form. Each participant will receive a commemorative item. The Food Bank of WNY distributes product to over 400 member agencies that feed the needy in Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, and Niagara counties. These include food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, child & adult day cares, summer camps, snack programs, Kids Cafes and group homes.
